Studying in the USA without loans or scholarships

Rohit was passionate about studying abroad in the USA, but he didn't want to take out a student loan and didn't have any chances to get a scholarship. He was determined to find a way to make it happen, so he started researching certificate programs.

Certificate programs are a great way to get the skills and knowledge you need to start a career in a particular field without having to spend four years in college. They're also much more affordable than traditional four-year degrees.
I found a certificate program in IT that I was interested in, and I applied. I was accepted, and I enrolled in the program with just a small amount of savings.
My certificate program was only 15 months long. After I graduated, I got a job as a Data Designer at a major tech company.

I am now working in the USA with OPT. OPT is a program that allows international students who have graduated from a US college or university to stay in the US and work for up to one year.
I am saving up to $1500 per month while I am working on my OPT. I plan to use my savings to pay for a Master's degree in Computer Science.
Here's how I study in the USA without a student loan or scholarship:
  1. I chose a certificate program instead of a four-year degree.
  2. I worked part-time (CPT) while I was studying to cover my living expenses.
  3. I lived frugally and saved money wherever I could.
If you're serious about studying abroad in the USA, don't let the cost stop you. There are ways to make it happen, even if you don't have a lot of money.
Here are some additional tips for studying abroad in the USA on a budget:
• Live off-campus. Living off-campus is often cheaper than living on campus.
• Get a part-time job. Working part-time can help you cover your living expenses.
• Cook your own meals instead of eating out. Eating out can be expensive, especially in the USA.
• Take advantage of free activities and events. There are many free activities and events available in most cities.
The main advantage of Post-completion OPT is that you can work full—time and will receive a salary as a qualified specialist. The average opt salary in the USA is $74,777 per year or $35.95 per hour. Entry level positions start at $49,262 per year while most experienced workers make up to $115,418 per year. For example, an Office Assistant can make up to $3500 per month while a Project Manager makes about $9000 per month. And we are talking only about salaries during OPT, don’t forget that afterwards you will be able to get a working visa and earn even more. Do you remember the average salary in your country?
